Congratulations to Regina King and Mahershala Ali on their Global Win

The 76th Golden Globes Awards was filled with laughter, tears and a lot of great wins! But the two wins that stood out the most from the African American Film Industry are two familiar faces that we all have seen on the big screen before.  ‘Moonlight’ star Mahershala Ali and ‘If Beale Street Could Talk‘ star Regina King has set their mark in their careers taking home the win of ‘Best Supporting Actor/Actress of a Motion Picture’ category.  This is both their first win for any Golden Globes Award, but for Regina, she won an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in the film ‘Seven Seconds’
