What is the story behind SPACES? Is it an acronym for something?

How did you come up with this idea?
We wanted to give our members the ability to meet new people without leaving the office. Each moment provides our members with the opportunity to pick a new spot in the business club which is a beautifully designed work space created to facilitate new connections. Whether your mind-mapping, meeting, collaborating or crunching numbers, the designer desks, tables, sofas, incredibly fast WiFi and informal meeting areas provide the perfect place for every business need. Do you have any strategies for making a client feel comfortable in their work space?
The first thing you do is personally walk them over and introduce them to the onsite center team. Knowing who the points of contacts are for the location is crucial for a member. The new member would also be personally invited to the first event at the center to demonstrate the additional value SPACES provides and introduce them to as many other members as possible to make them feel welcomed. The more people they know at the office the more included they feel in the community.

Are you planning to expand your business?
We now have over 50 locations currently in the U.S. with 15 of those in California with our newest location set to open in October of this year in Hollywood.
How has your customer service skills in the community and towards business clients helped you in your career?
Keeping the customer first in any light always helps to keep the focus on the key element in driving any business which is ultimately customer service. Maintaining this at the forefront of a business is crucial to its success. Striving for excellence here each and every day is always the goal not only for myself but the entire team. Making sure this is communicated to the entire team is what keeps the message consistent.
Was this something you always wanted to do?
Well, I was always very much into sports and WAS competitive in pretty much everything I did, so once I figured out I wasn’t going to be a major league athlete I set my focus in the business world. Property management is also very competitive so although I don’t have fans clamoring here for me I still get the fulfillment and satisfaction for helping our members succeed.
